This page says what the Fitness Haus website collects about you, what we do with it and how to ask us about it.

What we collect

This site does not ask you to create an account and does not collect anything about you unless you send us something.

When you send a form, we receive what you typed: your name, your email address, your phone number if the form asks for it, and your message. It goes into our own customer record, which our front desk uses to answer you, book your visit and follow up.

A form also sends the page it was on and a random reference number, unique to that message. A form on one of the site's pages adds when you started filling it in and when you sent it, which helps us tell a person from an automated script. A form in the chat guide sends the time it appeared instead.

If an ad or a tagged link brought you to the site, your browser remembers which one for 30 days, and a form you send carries it with your message: the reference the ad added to the link, the campaign, and the page you first landed on. We use it to tell which advertising brings people in.

What the desk does with it

The desk keeps a record of each person who gets in touch: what they sent us and when, and each call, text, email and visit since. Staff sign in to read it, and every change to it names who made it.

When a form arrives, the people we have chosen to tell about new forms get an email with your name, your phone number, which form you sent and what brought you to the site, so that somebody can call you quickly. Staff we choose can also get a morning email that lists by name the people the desk is due to call or see that day, and an email with your name and number when a call to you is running late.

Soon after your form arrives, we email you to say it arrived and what happens next. If you book a visit, we email you to confirm it, with a calendar file, and remind you the evening before. Once your free pass starts, we email you to say when it ends, and again the evening before its last day. These emails answer your request, so they have no unsubscribe link. A reply to any of them reaches the desk.

If you miss a booked visit, we may email you twice in the days after to offer another time. If we have tried three times to call you and not caught you, we may email you once to ask for a good time. Those emails have a link at the foot that stops them.

The desk may call or text the number you gave, or email you, to answer you or to book your visit, and notes each call, text and email in your record.

News and events go only to people who ticked the box for them on a form. Every such email has an unsubscribe link, and your record keeps when you ticked the box and what it said.

Who handles it for us

Netlify hosts this site and our staff system. It holds each form sent from this site only until it reaches the desk, which usually takes a few seconds. The exceptions are the earlier forms described under How long we keep it.

Supabase stores the customer record. Resend delivers the emails our staff system sends: the ones to you about your request, your visit and your pass, the ones the desk writes to you, and the ones to our staff about new forms and calls.

Our own mailboxes are provided by Google Workspace, and replies to our email arrive there. The emails to our staff about new forms and calls go to the work mailbox of each person we have chosen to tell.

How long we keep it

We keep your record, with every form you sent, while you are in touch with us and for 36 months after your last contact, and then we delete it. A form we hold back as possible spam is kept for the same time.

If you ask us to delete your information, we remove your name, email addresses, phone numbers, messages and notes from your record and from every form your record holds, along with the ad that brought you. What stays names nobody. We keep a one-way scrambled form of each email address, so that we never email it again, and the bare history of what happened and when: which form arrived, the calls, visits and emails, and when the box for news was ticked or unticked. Two things sit outside your record: the copies Netlify holds of older forms, and emails already sent. The paragraphs below describe both.

The copy this site keeps while a form is on its way to the desk is deleted as soon as the desk has it.

Forms sent before we moved our forms on October 3, 2026, or in the week after from a page opened before then, went to Netlify, our former form service. Netlify emailed the desk a copy of each form it did not file as spam, and still holds its own copies.

Resend keeps its own copy of each email it sends for us for 30 days, as its policy sets. Replies to our email, and the emails to our staff about new forms and calls, stay in the mailboxes they reached like any other email.

Server logs are kept for the short time described under Hosting and other services.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google a record of your visit: the pages you opened, the kind of device you used and roughly where you were. We do not use it to identify you, and we do not combine it with anything you send us.

You can stop it with a browser extension that blocks trackers, or by blocking cookies for this site. The site works the same either way.

Cookies

The only cookies this site sets come from Google Analytics, described above.

Separately from cookies, your browser keeps a note of the ad or tagged link that brought you here, as described under What we collect. The note lasts 30 days and stays on your device unless a form you send carries it to us.

Hosting and other services

The site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps ordinary server logs (the address your connection came from, the pages requested and when) for a short time in order to run the service.

Fonts and images are served from this site. The only script from a third party is Google Analytics, described above.

Links to other services, such as online ordering, maps and social profiles, take you to sites with their own privacy policies.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or ask anything else about this page: email sid@fitnesshaus.com or call (480) 464-6380.

Changes

When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.

Hausmate, the chat guide

Fitness Haus offers a chat guide called Hausmate that answers questions about this website. It is software, not a person, and it says so before you type anything.

What you type is sent to Anthropic, the company whose model produces the answer, together with the published text of this website, so that it can be answered. Anthropic does not use it to train its models.

We do not keep the conversation. The site records how many questions were asked and roughly what they cost to answer, and nothing of what was said. The conversation stays in your own browser tab until you close it.

The guide answers only from what is published on this website. If the website does not say, it says so and points you to a person.

Nothing is sent, booked or bought on your behalf. If the guide starts a form for you, it shows you the form with what you told it already filled in, and nothing is sent until you press the button yourself. A form sent that way is handled like any other message from this website.
