Inside the Haus

What is on the floor

What is on the floor at Fitness Haus: free weights, a powerlifting area, cardio, HIIT turf, the training rooms and the amenities that come with a membership.

Area by area

Six places to train

A long run of benches and dumbbells on the free-weight floor, with mirrors along the far wall.

Free weights

A full dumbbell run, benches and racks, with enough of each that you are not waiting on somebody to finish.

Power racks loaded with bumper plates against a bright green wall, with a lifting platform in front.

Powerlifting

Platforms and bars for people who came here to squat, pull and press, and who know what they want to do with them.

The machine floor looking down a long aisle, with dumbbells racked along one side and screens overhead.

Machines and circuit

Selectorised machines and a circuit, for training a movement without needing a spotter or a plan.

A row of treadmills facing tall windows, with a green wall to one side.

Cardio

Treadmills, bikes, steppers and rowers, set where you can see the floor rather than a wall.

The functional training area: a rig hung with straps and bags, medicine balls and exercise balls beside it.

HIIT turf

A turf strip for sleds, carries and conditioning work, which is where most of the coached sessions happen.

A line of heavy bags hanging from a rig, with ropes and weighted balls stored underneath.

Boxing bags

Heavy bags for rounds, and the one piece of cardio that never feels like cardio.

Access

Open when you are, which is the whole point

Open 24 hours, every day, for members. Shift work, a school run, or a session at two in the morning because that is when the day finally stopped. The building does not have an opinion about when you train.
